So now that assignments are out, I guess I ought to write one of these, maybe?
First of all, hi, and thank you for writing for me! I am generally super easy to please when it comes to fest fic, as the idea of someone writing something just for me is in and of itself enough to make me do the happydance. Depending on who you are and how well you know me, you may also be aware that Femslash Ficathon is one of my absolute favorite things that the PR fandom does, because let's face it. These ladies are awesome and they deserve to have all the attention in the world paid to them. So yay to you for participating!
In general, I enjoy fics of all stripes, and there is VERY little in the world that genuinely squicks me. (Told you I was easy to please!) I like porn, I like fluff, I like angst, I like happy fic, whatever. If, knowing that, you are still concerned about something you want to put in your fic, you can ask anon here or ask through the mods, but I am 95% certain I'll be fine with it.
Regarding the specific prompts themselves, I guess I could say what I had in mind when I prompted them, but if you decide to take a 90-degree turn that is also A-OK. There was one time that I submitted a prompt that was intended to be pure crack and that I never imagined someone would actually write. Well, it got written, and the story turned out to be not crack at all but sexy angst, and it was WONDERFUL. So yeah, you have official permission to play fast and loose with the prompts. I know I do. XD
The one prompt I will say a word or two on is "Ashley/Karone - redemption" because that is super duper vague. And that was kind of on purpose because there are so many possibilities there. But overall, I prompted this and keep prompting it, year after year, because I'm dying to see fic of this pairing that focuses on Astronema/Karone's alignment change, at any stage of it. Fallout from the body-switch would be great. We know that being Ashley gave Astronema a taste of what it was like to be good, did it also give Ashley an understanding of what it was like to be Astronema? Or what if Ashley took over the role Zhane had in canon, of being the one who believed Astronema could be saved, and trying to convince her of that? Post-series fic is good also; Ashley helping Karone adjust to her new life or trying to convince her that she deserves love despite her past. Again, anything goes.
